Launch Control Guru's

Hey guys,

So for those who will eventually head to the track like myself, I wonder how I can use launch control when the manual states you need to drive like 6 or so miles before using it... anyone have experience with using it at the track successfully? Here is what I pulled from another thread for procedure -

Step 1) Sport+ mode. ie. Sport mode then push Traction Control off
Step 2) Shifter into "S" (not "M")
Step 3) Mash the brake hard with your left foot
Step 4) Mash the fun pedal

At this point it'll pop-up a flag and something like "Launch Control Active"

Step 5) Release the brake

Anyone have experience with this or feedback?

I've used it after starting the car and not doing 6 miles but I made sure the engine temp was good

I have tried it a couple of times, insanely quick if you manage to do it properly. Best to drive it for a couple of minutes to let the engine warm up, and after you do the launch control drive normally for a little bit as well for cooling purposes. And a good advice, to achieve the lajnch control option mash both of the pedals until you can, literally to the floor, otherwise the little flag wont come up saying "launch control active". Have fun

I've heard that before, where you need to have the accelerator ALL the way down and click the kick down switch.
