urgent help needed, clutch bleeding advice

I am replacing brake fluid, done all four wheels with the one man hose (one way valve), then did the CD valve delete, and then I removed the bleeding nipple completely, then I put it back in but loosely, attached the bleeding hose and went to the clutch pedal, but the clutch pedal had no pressure and it wasn't pumping anything out but just air. What do I do?

Hope this helps. Might be easiest to just do this with a second person if you don't have a pressure bleeder.

Silly question, but the reservoir is full, right?

It sounds like there's a good deal of air in the system. The good news is that if you keep at it, you should be able to evacuate all of it and start moving fluid through the lines. I'd also be wary of using the one-man bleeder setup for this job, but that's just me. I may be totally wrong here.

Good luck!

just buy a pressure bleeder.

It's a worthwhile $50 investment.

it sounds like now you've got air in the master, so it's going to need bench bled. Vacuum bleeding is 50/50 on getting air out of the master, pressure bleeding is 100%.

In the end I called a mobile mechanic I know. He came and sorted it out with one of those pressure bleeders. I made a mistake not buying one myself beforehand. I'll have to get one for the future jobs.
