maintenance problem mirrors and kidneys

Hey

I have had a m40i for 2 weeks.

I have already noticed that the rear of the side mirrors and the kidneys are very susceptible to dirt, streaks and spots. Someone a proposal how best to maintain these things?

Hi,

can't find the thread but someone recommended using Chemical Guys JetSeal. I tried it and it makes it much easier for me to keep the mirrors and kidney grill clean... Ended up using for the whole car - give it a try !

Optimum spray wax works perfectly as does all their products I have tried.

I used Optimum Opti-seal on the whole car. Only took about 30 minutes to apply, including windows.

I'm not sure who you're asking, but if you're asking about Opti-seal, yes you can apply it outside. Just be sure it's not in direct sunlight on a hot day. An overcast day is optimal, but you could also just do it first thing in the morning before it gets hot.
