I've seen that code before on a 745LI I'm pretty sure it's lost communication with a module but don't quote me, any in the car not working right?

yes clusters all symbol on and off

If my info is correct, U1101 = Component Protection

Sounds like the car is trying to prevent modules from being fried due to wiring issues.
