2018 BMW g05 x5 in pictures
Just saw this posted I think by mistake and snatched pics while I could. Here it is! Bigger version of the x3 with some welcome new interior designs. A couple of highlights I love, new radio and hvac layout, start button on console and new instrument cluster.

M Sport has a modified suspension just like the same version of the X3. I keep hearing that the M sport is all superficial stuff related to looks. Hmmm

Pics were released last night. It's all on the front page of BP
Who's interested in a slightly used X3 M40i?!?!

Looks great. Has some X3 design elements. More interior luxury. Interesting they added an off road package. New instrument cluster and console start button. Overall it's too large for my city garage.

You could have sold these to a magazine lol..
Autocar just published 2 average photos leaked from a Russian website... not a patch on what you’ve just shared with the world! |

I like the new look.
While not dramatic revolution, it feels modern, luxurious and especially the interior looks really good. I'm interested to see photos of the 3rd row. |

OMG love this... yeah it's like my X3 M40i but in 115% size! Wow, I'm actually impressed... AND I'm glad BMW is bringing back the edgier lines of their cars from around the 90's like the e36 and e39's.

Excellent find...find of the year. Car looks good...from a former F15 M sport owner. Really glad i decided against getting a last run F15, i knew i would like this better, but timing on this didn't work out. Still love my m40i..will like to see performance specs on the G05 and is there going to be a m40i version?

I saw spy shots of the upcoming 3 series and the interior is very similar with start button on the console, new shifter and revised hvac and radio controls. They now put small screens in between the ac vents for temperature readout. It’s a great looking interior.

This car is going to be much pricier then even a loaded M40i. Unless you have an extra $30k they’re not really in the same league guys. I’ll be happy with my M40i and the extra money in my bank account. Now if only I didn’t need 4drs I’d be getting a loaded M2C for the same price as my M40i.

Same here, X5 is too big for my use and much more expensive. I just wish they had offered active steering and black nappa / merino leather + dashboard on the G01.
And it's perfectly logical they kept all that for the X5, they have to justify the higher price tag G01 LCI will get those enhancements |

I actually love that 2 piece liftgate! Anyway - you can see the way the lights are designed further and higher on the liftgate, they HAD to move the badges below the brake lights as it would look silly squeezed around roundel. This makes me think that if this was the design they were going with, they've been planning the move of the badges for a while.
Can there be any more buttons and controls by the center shifter? |

Looks like they were trying to carry forward the big win on the exterior styling of the G01. I think they missed it a bit on the front and rear proportionally, although I have only been looking at this white one. The front fogs and black chrome bumper details for instance look unchanged (same size), not scaled up, and the rear view reminds me of our previous Tiguan, which I really did not like at all.
I think we X3 G01’ers unquestionably have the best looking BMW sav!

Just saw a video on Facebook from BMW on the X5 reveal. I’m so impressed by NFC phone support to unlock and start the car - no key required. I-drive 7 looks super slick and highly customizable
