Can’t change song with Bluetooth music

When I play music from my iphone via Bluetooth (I don’t have Apple CarPlay), the car won’t let me change the song anymore on the last few drives. However, I can still change the song directly from my phone.

Anyone else have this issue? Solutions?

sometimes i'm unable to change track from integrated steering wheel controls.

however, if i change it once from the main screen with the control wheel next to the shifter, the integrated controls on the wheel start working.

my other issue is that when the system connects back to bluetooth after a warm start, the bluetooth audio is delayed. changing tracks, navigation instructions from waze, etc is delayed by up to 20 seconds. the only way i can fix that is by turning off bluetooth from the phone and reconnecting it to the car.

Whenever something goes wrong with the Iphone music I turn the phone completely off let it reboot and then it seems to work again. Sometimes the music stops for no reason and I need to pull over and turn the phone completely off and turn car off and restart.

Thanks! Will try this. Maybe it is the phone or something...

Sounds like your car and your iPhone are running Windows XP.

Same issue here. If I change to FM radio and back to mobile media it's fixed but annoying nonetheless

For me, turning my phone off and back on has fixed the issue (did that a couple days ago and no issue on the past 5-7 trips).

Have you gotten this sorted yet?

I had something equally as odd happen the other day. I was playing music from my iPhone through Spotify and for some reason the music completely dropped. The system acted as if there was no phone connected (showed no apps, etc.). Oddly enough, the system still showed the phone, but showed it as disconnected. I tried to connect it via the phone and the car, but it wouldn't connect.

Drove home listening to sat radio and the next day it was fine. Very strange though. Hasn't happened again yet. Hoping it was just a fluke.
