If you are referring to the "camera" icon then it is simply letting you know that the particular camera that is displaying the image is the one in the trunk.
If you rotate the knob or click it down it should show other camera angles and you can flip to different ones. |

Since this question is answered, does anyone know why BMW calls the adaptive LED headlights with "icon" light? Heard that in their advertisement, no clue what they mean.
Sorry I thought this fits in the "icon - meaning" thread

icon "a person or thing regarded as a representative symbol of something" I turn them off (the chandeliers) on bright sunny days, they seem redundant sometimes. The car looks pretty darn good with them on or off!
