2A38 Code, Loss of low end power, any suggestions??

Hello everyone,

Recently I ran a diagnostics test on my bmw using the Carly app (no check engine lights were present) and have found that I have a 002A38 code: "valvetronic servomotor: binding or open circuit" that's round about what the app gave me (not 100% sure about the description but forsure the right code), anyone had this code before? I don't have any troubles starting it and it idles where it should be (knock on wood), but feels a tiny bit shaky when it's idling. I feel like I lost all my torque below 3k rpms, I gotta give it a lot more gas then before just to get it going quickly. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
