Match pp82dsp and trunk sub problem
I have had a pp82dsp for several years. It drives bavsound speakers and earthquake under seat woofers. It was working fine until I added an Arc mini amp and trunk subwoofer. RCA out of channel H into sub amp and remote on wire from dsp to sub amp. Separate power line from battery. If I turn volume too high now, the system shuts off until I turn the volume down. The head unit shows that the song is still playing.
Any ideas? Thanks for any help. John |

So I have a PP86DSP for Bavsoud speakers and under seats then a HD600 (I think) JL driving a Focal 8" wired in similar fashion.
The second amp and speaker should only be getting music info from the Match along with the remote, but I'm thinking the remote must be the issue and there's a short somewhere. I'd turn your second amp to on instead of remote sense, disconnect the wire, then start to trouble shoot. Perhaps the amp and the speaker aren't properly matched or grounded or something, are shutting off into safety mode and trip the Match via remote.
