2018 530e - Rate my Deal

Hi All,

Just looking to get some feedback on a pending deal I have with my dealer. Please chime in. Here are the details of the car and price...

2018 530e
Mediterranean Blue
M Sport 2
Executive Package
Driver Assistance Plus
Driver Assistance Pkg
Luxury Seating Package
Ivory White Nappa Leather
Apple Car Play
Harmon Kardon Sound
TurboCord Charger
Paint Protection Film Level 1
First Aid Kit

MSRP - $70295
Sell price - $63200
Minus Loyalty Rebate - $2000

Total Selling price is $61200 or approx 13% off.

This will be cash deal but will finance a small amount to get the $2k loyalty rebate.

Please let me know what you guys think...

Thanks in advance!

My MSRP was also very close to that (I think $70,100) and my pre-tax total was $59,484. With tax and registration it was around $65. I didn't use the $2k rebate since I didn't want to finance through BMW.

Mine was a custom order though, so that might have made the difference. Of course, this is before the total rebates of $6500 from the federal and state govts.

Wow you got a great deal. I'm getting an extra 1k off because my wife is in grad school so total pretax is $60200. Right in line with yours so I know I'm in the ballpark. Thanks for the feedback!

No problem. Yeah it works out for us that people don't want sedans anymore. ~15% off MSRP (actually more if you include the PHEV rebates) would have been unheard of a few years ago.

Ended up getting an extra $3k surprise rebate on delivery day. So my final price including $6k in rebates was $57118. Pretty good considering this was a $70295 car. Still get $1500 back from state and another $1k from CCA. Not to mention the $4700 federal tax credit. I'm happy

Wow that's an excellent price! Do you happen to remember what the rebate was?

You can get an additional $500 if you use PG&E as your utility company as well.

It was just a $3k rebate from BMW. They didn't specify a name but it was something that came from corporate. They didn't hide it but I guess thats what happens when you work with an amazing dealer. Shout out to Steve Thomas BMW. We get $450 back from So Cal Edison

Thanks, I'll have to ask my dealer about that. Although rebates will probably change in time it takes for my car to arrive at the dealer.
