I'm abroad at the moment and will get photos up when I'm back(6 weeks). Deposit has gone down on a new car - a 2015 Competition F10 M5 Individual in the end.
I'm in an e39 540 sport touring as my daily, part of me is tempted by switching to the 335d as the daily! (My garage queen & weekend driver is a 2002 Dinan Carbon Black E39 M5)

You could get that wear repaired under warranty if you're still in time, I had mine done for a lot less damage. Just a thought.

It was like that when I bought the car, never occurred to me it could be repaired! Thought this was fair wear and tear! Warranty has just expired but can be renewed online.

Did you buy it from a BMW main dealer? If you did they deserve to have the backs of their legs slapped. You can't really repair it, I just had mine replaced - under warranty.
