New X3 Driver
I'm a long time BMW driver (42 years) and a new owner of an X3 M40i and wanted to say hello. I've been lurking on this forum for a couple of weeks and have learned a lot about the G01.
My X3 is a March 29 build and only arrived in town yesterday. Apparently shipping of X models from SC to Canada has been very slow and problematic. I hope to have the car by the weekend and will post pics then.

Welcome. My March 17th build was delivered last Wednesday and we picked it up Friday. Mine ended up going through Halifax after the rail car shortage in SC put it on a boat. I'm curious where your rear badges are mounted.

It's a fantastic vehicle, only have 400km so far, need to finish the break-in period before really testing it out. |

The X3 arrived at the dealership today. Lettering is lower down on the rear hatch and it came with the 21" Bridgestones. Hope to have it for the long weekend coming up.
There was a 30xi that had just arrived and it had the lettering in the lower location. Had the X3 logo on the left and an xdrive logo on the right

Congrats!!!
I am also new to the forum but have been reading for the last few weeks. I ordered mine at the end of April M40i with Ultimate package. Very excited. Received my VIN number on Tuesday. Called BMW but they had little to no information. Very frustrating not knowing when I will get it. Any help to track a Canadian build would be appreciated. |

There's a thread on here called Canadian orders that shows you how to track by rail and truck. You'll need a railcar number from your salesperson to track the rail portion via a 1-800 number. Your vin will allow you to track the vehicle on truck through Hansen's forwarding. I couldn't track mine on rail because it ended up on a ship to Halifax, this is unusual, but was caused by a railcar shortage in SC. If you can get a railcar number and CN is hauling it through Canada you can track it for the entire route.
