Now the exciting part I’ve also got a set of genuine Bmw 335xd springs taken off my car prior to delivery - open to sensible offers on these very rare springs. I have it on very good information that these are very rarely taken off cars ever and that due to their massive popularity there a waiting list of several months if not years for these bits.

Strange, I have some of the same springs as well. Sounds like we both got lucky!! I think I'll keep mine though - in 5 years time they'll be worth more than the car!

Very true indeed.

Have heard that the situation has got so bad that some poor souls are having to make do with inferior stuff like ACS - so badly made that not only do they ruin the QE2 style handling but also destroy their ability to cross ploughed fields with ease.

Apparently some scallywag called Lorcan is makIng himself a small fortune due to the shortage.
