I've got a 2017 F31 330d with the online and remote services. I've got the ConnectedDrive app on my Android phone and it appears all of the remote features work - however the app always tells me that they fail. If I set it to ventilate it will create a notification saying it is connecting, after several minutes it changes to say that the connection failed - yet if I go to the vehicle, it has succeeded. Likewise if I look in the remote history it shows the commands as successful.

Has anyone come across this before or know of a fix? If it is relevant, my phone is a Nexus 6P on 8.1.0.
