Interesting moose test, but they should indicate completion time or average speeds. If you decelerate faster at the first turn, you may get better results because you will be going slower into the second turn.
And of course tires, temperatures all make a lot of difference. |

These tests take place in Spain, and while Audi test was made in April, BMW test was made in January, so there must be a temperature difference of around 15-20º at least (maybe more in tarmac).
Considering that body movement is less in BMW, I think that in equal conditions the X3 should perfom much better than it did. Appart from that, what they measure is the speed at the entrance, but you can see that the Audi deccelerates a lot after the first turn, which also may help... |

That's not an M40i, so the xDrive tuning isn't the same.
