Basic head unit upgrade.

Help!

I've tried looking through the existing posts but can't fathom exactly what I would require to add Nav, DAB and Bluetooth audio streaming to my car.

Car is a UK F31 330D manufacture date 2012-09-25

from what I can see these are the radio related options fitted which I think is just the entry level items with the smallest screen.
S676AHiFi speaker system
S698AArea-Code 2 for DVD
S6AAABMW TeleServices
S6ABAControl for Teleservices
S6NHAHands-free with USB interface
I'm looking at buying this unit which they say is part number 6512938755801 and wonder what other parts I would have to buy in order to fit it. in terms of cabling and antennas. I've contacted the seller but they're not able to tell me what I would need that I don't already have in the car.

I've watched tutorials of how to physically fit the gear and I'm comfortable with that but I'm not 100% on what coding would be required. I just don't want to waste money buying the wrong part or start something and have to increase the budget. Any advice would be appreciated.

I would like to upgrade from NBT to EVO because of Carplay - I found some parts on ebay but understood the those would have to be coded before installing them and then additional parts were also needed for my car.

Share your VIN with somebody which can provide the parts, install and code correctly. Around here they recommend the "bavarian coding" people - you can contact them via their Facebook page. Drop them a line and see how they can help.

Also recently came across this which could be a cheaper/easier way to upgrade - http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1423013
