Bass disappears after bt phone call

F34 2014 Standard Speaker (no HK), latest NBT update on iDrive 4.0. iPhone X with latest update.

I listen to music from usb or bt with the phone connected to my car. After I call or receive a phone call the music continues playing as it shoud but completely without bass!
The only solution is turning off-on the car.

What can i do to solve this issue?

Weird because my HK system has done this before and I'll switch to Radio and back to Multimedia (my phones bluetooth) and the sound will resume as normal.. Now I'm just lacking a little bit of bass and sourced it to the under seat sub via a youtube music sample..
