Single dead LED strip in inner taillight, F31

Hi

I have a single dead LED strip in my drivers side inner taillight on my newly purchased F31. Warranty is out of the question.

Usually I'd expect both to go out if it was the driver board for the LED's. The board isn't identical to the one on F25 X3. The LED "board bar" seems like it could maybe slot out, but doesn't break free with "light persuasion".

Any known fixes for this besides a new inner taillight? :-)

Why is the warranty "out of the question?"

+1 on this....there isn't much they can screw up with a replacement. Rattling trim might be a whole different story but not this.

Well you said "newly" purchased so for all we know, you bought it brand new.

Regardless, your best bet would be to find a used part on ebay. Shouldn't cost too much.

Well, that's exactly where my "warranty is not an option" came in. :-)

I've ordered a new unit at KOED. :-)
