6WA Extended Instrument Cluster

Hi everyone!

Do you know, is there any difference between extended instrument clusters (6WA option)? I see, that part numbers were changed, but nobody can answer, what was changed. I can't believe, that 2011 one and 2017 are the same.

And how they look with latest updates? Especially menu.

Thanks!

They can change manufacturer, circuits inside or other parts inside.

End result is it still displays same thing.

Recently installed the old one, from not LCI car and it looks like it has a worse display, that not extended instrument cluster from LCI.

There is no doubt lcd displays themselves have gotten better over 8 years.

In fact, it might be difficult to find someone manufacturing a circa 2010 low end LCD internal display today.

That would fall under the internal components I spoke of.

So I understand it might not look as crisp, but are you saying it does not display the same info? A lot of that is in the Kombi coding.

No, it displays all the information right. But graphics are old too.
