Just saying hi - New owner in NWUK :)
Hello all, just put a deposit down on a rather lovely 63 plate LCI in MCB/Silverstone, only done 26k and I'm very much looking forward to picking it up next weekend
I've driven many fast cars (from quick to silly) but have to say nothing has ever impressed me as much as the F10 for it's full on jekyll and hyde split personality, just mind blowing... Anyway I'm trying to find a new forum home and stumbled across this place so thought I'd say hi |

Welcome on board and don't forget to post a few pictures once you have the keys.
There's loads of good information around here so take a good look at the other posts for an useful hints and tips. There's also an Owners Club on Facebook that's worth joining, mainly E60/E61 but the F10 is growing. |

Took my new-to-me 63 LCI out for it’s first drive up to the Welsh Dams yesterday (Rhayader, etc.). Perfect driving day in terms of weather, and boy did I enjoy it. Excellent time to fettle with settings, get used to it and decide what, if any, changes i’ll make to it. I’m positive you’ll enjoy yours as much.

I took a few pictures on my phone but haven't had chance to mask the number plate until now. Sorry they're not the best but I guess it looks the same as every stock MCB / SS / LCI anyway
5 days in and I absolutely love it. LOVE it! It seems to get better each day as I learn it's little quirks and features, basically just the best all round car I've ever driven. Not that much firmer or louder than a normal diesel F10, even with the 20's (although I noticed an improvement after twaeking the pressures down to 35psi). It's smooth, quiet and comfortable - but when you want it to it feels equally as raunchy as the R8 V10 Plus I took round Oulton Park last year... Get through a couple of gears at full chat and wow this thing can move for such a colossal beast! Very happy with my purchase! |
