OEM carpet and foot slippage
I have OEM carpets with BMW emblem on them. I have noticed that my foot sometimes slips at the BMW emblem and as a result I press on the brake harder or faster than I need to. Initially I thought it was just me, but when my wife, and my best friend complained about the same issue, I thought that I would share it with you people to see if anyone else shares my problem.

My Car is a HYBRID! It burns gas and rubber.

I Don't have any problem. But I usually do not press the brake with my foot on the carpet. I raise my foot off of the carpter to use the brake.

Had a similiar problem with my heel slipping on the edge of the emblem when I hit the clutch... Just changed them out of the all weather rubber mats. No more problems and I think they look better and are much easier to keep clean...

I switched my mats out for (mostly) rubber mats for the winter, looking forward to changing back in a few weeks. Didn't notice slippage before doing this.
