I have an appointment to check out this M5 at Capital BMW on Monday. Let's see if they keep that price as interest on it has gone up quite a bit as of late.

Will report back.

Here's where I am at with this deal at my local dealership here in Florida. Thinking of taking it but it's at the wrong side of the country as I need it as a DD in Cali. I guess I could truck it.

All of them are at MSRP now. Atleast on cars.com for those 2 dealers.

Having a hard time getting any dealer to give discount on this car. One local dealer was asking for 15K over msrp. Crazy! Any suggestions on whom to order car from? Looking to either place an order on car or take existing build.

$1k loyalty and $2k off of 5 series I think. Might be the standard 5 series incentive right now.

What are people paying for 1st Editions? One dealer is asking $50K over which is absurd. Should I be getting a discount or is MSRP the going rate?

No way. Have you looked at depreciation of cars in this segment after 2-3 years?!

Yep, and this new model will still have high desirability for the first year or so. F10s tanked because they weren't well-received to begin with.

In 3 years, most examples will probably be in the high 60s/low 70s unless they turn out to have problems. A high mileage example @ $60K, sure.

Otherwise, I'll put my money where my mouth is and buy one.

No way, cars in this segment depreciate ~20% per year. I'd expect to see it at ~50-55% of MSRP (probably mid $50k) at 3 years for a nicely optioned car with moderate mileage. Prices for early non-comp pack cars are going to get slaughtered.
