Where can I get best tint and clear bra in So Cal?
I am pretty noob at this, so sorry if my questions are stupid. Will really appreciate it if you guys help me out a little. I am looking for a place near Diamond Bar, Walnut, Rowland Heights, Arcadia, etc...
Where can I get the best tint and clear bra in So Cal? What brand should I get for the tint and the clear bra? What % should I get the tint? (I want it somewhere in the middle; dark enough for good looks, but light enough to see the road really clear at night.) Should I get tint for the front? Where should I get the car clear braed? Where does most people get them? (I am buying the car BTW.) How much will the clear bra be? Can I get them both done at the same place? Thanks a lot guys... Tint: Tintplus in Laguna Hills
http://www.tintplus.com/ Clear Bra: Premier (have them come to you) http://www.premiermobilegroup.com/ Tint: FormulaOne Pinnacle Clear Bra: Ventureshield Quote:
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=144390 It's up to you, I didn't but kinda regret it after seeing Xcellere's car in person... he's got 35% F1 Pinnacle Ceramic on all windows (windshield included) see this thread for samples... http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=145333 Quote:
Going rate is about 1900, give or take 100-150 bucks I wouldn't. Read above. Also, I wasn't impressed at all by the clear bra tintplus was offering, it was a partial hood bra with the "line" clearly visible. Partial coverage on the side view mirrors looked equally unimpressive which is why I would call Premier. No prob. |

Tinting - I've used Best and Song's both with great results. Both companies use Matico and Huber. I have all of my windshields done with the lightest they have. It's really to cut down on the heat as my wife's sensitive to uv and aging....
Clearshield - I've used others, but I will stick with Premier as rick mentioned above. My neighbor had a pretty horrible ordeal with a few companies in OC.

I emailed premier and the person that responded (Wilson) said they'll be in Orange County the first week of July with dates still pending.

What options are you guys getting with premier's standard kit? I was definitely going with full hood, but wonder if any of the other options were a must?
Standard Precut Kit: 1. 23” hood bonnet 2. fenders to match with hood pc 3. mirrors 4. headlamps 5. front bumper Options: priced to be added to kit 1. Custom full hood 2. Custom 1 pc front bumper 3. Custom full front fenders 4. Rocker panels 5. Trunk lip Last edited by WhiteKnight; 06-12-2008 at 04:10 PM.. |

Song's for Clear Shield
I'm bringing in my car to get the tint at Song's. Anyone know if they can do the Clear Shield? I would prefer Premier, but I'm not sure when they will be in SoCal next.

It costed me a little bit more than that for the CGT, but that was because they spent a lot of time taking my car apart. I personally wouldn't bother with doing the whole M3 as it becomes less practical. Repainting the bumper on my F430 done by Dave at Premier (different Premier - one in Culver) costed me close to $2k. For the M3, I received a quote to repaint my M3 bumper $700 because a Tahoe backed right up onto it. For my M3, I had Premier do everything up tothe doors. I personally just hate lines, so I"m usually going for at least that much protection.
