Wheel Torque Specs

I have the 330i with Sport Package and was wondering if anyone knows the torque specs for tightening the wheel lug bolts. I didn't see it anywhere in the manual.

I just got the BMW wheel locks and it states a torque spec but not sure if it is in lb/ft or Nm. Anyone?

Once again, my thanks! I don't suppose you would know where I should place a jack when I am lifting the vehicle? I found 4 places around the vehicle that look like jack points, but they appear to be plastic and I don't want to break them. Would it be OK to jack up the car from under the rear suspension?

Ah yes, I was right. Thank you. Is there some kind of special jack attachment that fits into the mounting points so that the jack does not break off the edges of the jacking points? It's kind of like an upside down plastic box and I don't want to break it.

The "boxes" are for the BMW jack that youcan buy from the dealer

The E46 had these same "boxes" and the jack that came in the car had a head that fitted into them.

I usually place a non BMW jack just next to these boxes. i put a thick rag/cloth ontop of the the jack head so i ont damage the paint

The lifts at the BMW dealerships also push just next to these "boxes" ( usually towards the centre of the car from the box )

you think my wheels will live with ~100 foot pounds?

My jack head is a ~5" circular piece of cupped metal with a rubber pad insert. The BMW jack block completely fit into the cup touching only the rubber pad, and worked quite well.

This was the 1.5ton jack from Sears that is about $99 now.

Why would you do 100ft/lb if BMW says to do 88.5ft/lb?

Did it last night without access to the i net

I'm pretty sure its not too big a deal since all lug nuts are torqued to this and wont be warping anthing, just possibly some additional strain on the lug bolts.

I remember reading here that the torque wrench from BMW is fixed at 130nm, so I just play the middle ground and tightened mine to 125nm.
