Newly Aquired E90, First BMW

Hi forums, I'm new and looking to DIY my car to suit my fancy. Yes, I know there is a section for that, though I have a general question.

Is there any way to tell what exactly my particular E90 was sold as? I'm having a heck of a time figuring out what lights I have, what wheels I have, etc.

It would be fantastic if I could get a spec sheet specific to my vehicle to work with if you know what I mean.

Type your vin into a vin decoder. Just google it.
