Talking 320i mods for the "looks"?

First off, I just bought this CPO 2014 for wifey. I drive sometimes but don't really like Sedan (my car SUV). So please don't judge why staying budget not picking at least 328 or 335 or anything fancier.

I searched and read through many "debating" topics how cheap 320i and why you bought it. My 328i better bla bla bla. Please just help me and leave those things aside.

NOW, any exterior mods (beside wheels) can make this car looks sportier?
I ordered the spoiler. What about side kits, rear dissfuser.... Any small things in budget can help the "look" .
Thanks guys. Appriciated

PS: Spent $1450 for bimmertech backup cam and the HD flex. Very cool

Please help with links (Ebay, Amazon, Alibaba...)

Welcome to the forum. You don’t have to explain why you got a 320i. Most of us characters here are mature and are all here to help each other out. Heck, I may buy a 320i as a beater within a week but to answer your question IMHO I would install coilovers:

https://www.ebay.com/i/232269264654?...D1401188455303

I would assume your wife’s 320i has the stock 17’s. The 320’s sport packaged 18’s don’t look too bad and would look great with the car lowered. Also check out:

https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3...itter/?pdk=AgE

And ECStuning.com for other exterior parts (side skirts, rear aprons, etc)...

Is it an M Sport? Besides suspension, I think a rear valence and trunk lip add the most aesthetically without going full kit.

This is my 320i with tinted windows, 18" 397 wheels and M-Sport body kit. The entire car looks lower than it was.

This is how it transformed, but I have no idea how much it cost in US, mine is in Hong Kong.

Selma is pretty popular for the kits they sell. Which one you get is dependant on what features come with your car and what you want. But parts all in will probably cost you close to $1000 all in.

for your "exterior" instead of the m-sport conversion. along with black kidney grills, i'd get a non m-sport "haman style" color matched front lip, color match the rear spoiler, paint your or wrap your stock base/sportline diffuser gloss black and change the chrome exhaust tip to black. postpone different exhaust outlet/diffuser options until later.

next i'd get bilstein b14 pss coilovers and set 25-30mm lower. don't get too ridiculous with the drop. $1k + installation

finally a square set of 18x8'-8.5" light flow formed wheels on 225-235/45/18 light rubber, maintaining or enhancing the performance, albeit slightly. if you don't want to spend as much there are many 18" wheel sets, such at 397's in the marketplace. wheels will have the greatest visual impact on the exterior appearance of the car.

sportline 8s wheels, 18x8.5, check mod bargains

tsw bathurst, 18x8.5 check mod bargains

M sport is not available on the 320i. Just a sport package - which now for 2018 is called "sport plus design" and is $3,500 when it used to be $1,300. Ouch. Anyway, it looks like the features are the same. All the features of M sport except the aero package.

Here is my 2017 stock 320i, like yourself I've been looking for mods. I've done a few things to it:
Grills
H&R sport springs(love the way the car handles now!!)
397 18' wheels.
Just got a spoiler from Ebay painter for $89 and M Side skirts that I'm installing this week. Besides these I don't know what else to do, here a before and after

Here it is with the spoiler and M Sport skirts. JB4 is next plus front lip. I also installed Bavsound stage one and will be replacing the OEM subs tomorrow.

Get coilovers and wheels.

Look up ST, KW, BC racing, bilstein. And pick what's right for you.

VMR wheels make affordable cast and flow formed wheels that look great on BMWs.

Cost will vary based on what parts you choose but you will be very satisfied in the way the car looks and drives if you go at it the right way

Funny thing tho, after replacing the skirts the bass/subs sound muffled? Different? I checked them and they are not rattling that much... I'll find out what's going on...

Over, not just $1k. How much over depends on your local shops. The parts alone are almost $1k.

Was the bumper a direct bolt on? Any modifications needed to install?

What model is that bumper from?
