New to me 335i

Just bought a 2015 335i with only 20000. Anything I should be made aware of? Common issues, etc. Pretty excited to pick it up Tuesday!

Watch out for that brittle plastic charge pipe...

It will crack and blow out one day when you are driving, and you will either be stranded on the road or will literally have to limp home....

The door lock actuators are also common failure items....

Got me an extended warranty... gonna have to search on that charge pipe issue.

Very Loaded, nice. White M-Sport with tinted windows and the 403M wheels is a stunner, need to see the pics! Are you planning any modifications? MPE, MPPK, spoiler, etc?

Love those 403M wheels! If those are the original wheels with summer tires you have the increased speed limiter. This raises the governor speed from 135 to 155 MPH. Also looks like you have the MPE (M-Performance Exhaust). That is usually accompanied with the MPPK (M-Performance Power Kit). Look for the M-Performance metal tag under the hood, the tag will be 1" x 3" and say m-Performance. Those two items are good for 35-40 HP together. You can also tell if you put the vehicle in sport mode and you have lots of burbles from the exhaust.

Congrats! Beautiful Car! I too just bought one last weekend... these things are a hot item when they come up in my area... I tried to buy 3 Msport in a week and all three sold within 18hrs of me calling on them!... finally got the upperhand and found this Gem! It's like Brand New! I researched and researched before buying this car and the 2015 335i was the best bang for the buck all around for what I wanted it for... I picked this one over the 340i for certain reasons... one is the handling... I read that the new motor was 50lbs heavier and due to it's architecture sits more forward in the chassis causing the 340i to be prone to understeer compared to the 335i... this is why BMW revised the suspension majorly and offered only with Msport package ... let's just say I've been Tokyo Drifting before Tokyo even new what drifting was and verified this on a couple of test drives...

... another reason I bought the 335i was yes the N55 motor... contrary what they are saying about the B58... the N55 is actually easier to mod... so much so that is why the BMW engineers went with the N55 and added a forged crank and rods to it on the M3... but price on those is to crazy to consider... So for these reasons I'm hoping this car will hold it's value a little better... I was also happy to get the upgraded paint Glacier Silver Metallic.... shows the lines of the car better IMO... here is the highlights of the options..

2015 335i XDrive

Options:
M Sport package
BMW LA wheel M Double Spoke 441 (Dark Silver Metallic)
M Sport Brakes
Of course all the bells and whistles

Soon to be Upgrades:
Michelin PSS (the guy at the dealer races and said get the tire and wheel ext. warranty if I plan on taking it to the track...wink wink...so I did

MPPK (I got a 5 year extended warranty and this is covered)
and any other M performance I can put on it

This car was specifically bought just for fun... nothing to serious... so can't wait to do some track driving with it...

Z10 Performance exhaust is shown on the build sheet. That and Z23 diffuser...
