Cold climate pkg

Seems to not be an option - does the X1 include a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats?

Not sure about the cold climate package, we don’t have the option in the UK

You can get a heated steering wheel, however no heated rear seats. This along with the lack of an auto hold function are the two biggest disappointments in the X1 packaging for me...

The heated steering wheel is great at this time of year in the UK, although the placement of the button to activate it is ridiculous!

Maybe but it's no great shakes pressing it still.

& re auto hold, it is an omission for sure but I just use the electric handbrake if I know I'll be stationary for a period of time & just drive off when clear as it automatically releases when you do

Yep I do the same... but it’s nowhere near as smooth as the auto hold function that I had on my F10 & E70

Or our Seat Alhambra family bus. Does seem daft not to include it in any auto.

Think I'll be looking at other marques come change. Lots of good, high spec manufacturers out there now that don't option everything bar the 4 wheels on a car.

The Cold Climate Package (heated steering wheel and heated front seats) isn't listed for the MY18's, instead it is offered as a $550 option under the Convenience Options Group. It's the same price as was charged on the MY17's. I don't think you can get it with the M Sport steering wheel though.

It is also included with the premium package. That is how we ordered ours.
