so my car was involved in a collision, got hit by a taxi about a month ago

just dropped my car off for repair, one headlight was damaged. However the guy at the shop said he will try and get the other head light replaced as well so both look new. I had a lamin-x tint on both headlights, so I don't think the other head light needs to be replaced..what do you guys think? Should I get the working one replaced as well?

The car is not that old, a 2015 428xi with 40,000km

If insurance will cover its, replace them both, if not it’s a much more subjective call. I would leave it and see how well they match post repair. You can always do it later,

If it's going to look like one was replaced then yes... I had that done on a prior car. No way was I going to take it looking like half new...

I just hit a deer with 50k on my car. Had to replace one headlight, and I see no difference. I didn't care anyway as I have a 340 on order anyway..

2 Days ago I closed the garage door on the trunk of my 340 and I was actually proud of myself for not really caring or getting angry because I have way more important things going on............Also it might be because Im getting a P100D..........( Since I made the switch way before I though I would) So my 340 may be up for sale soon or I may keep it still trying to figure that part out!
