Depends on your use case - daily driving or canyon driving or auto-x or track? What brakes do you currently have? For non-sustained/non-repeated brake applications, the tire is usually the limiting factor. Getting a 6 piston Brembo 370 mm brake kit does no good if you have 225 section all season tires. If you have to repeatedly brake hard (like on track), then brake fade and initial bite will matter.

My 335i initially used to have the stock front brakes (4 piston Brebmo M Sport, not the M Performance colored ones) and Michelin PSS 225 section tires and it found the combination to be more than adequate for spirited street and canyon drives.

I currently have Brembo 6 piston 370 mm front brake kit with 245 section R compound tires (widest I count fit in the front) and the brakes overwhelm the tires every single time.

Forgot to mention that I've had 328i and 228i loaners with 2 piston floating calipers on the front that I've taken on weekend canyon drives and managed to smoke them with less than 30 min of acceptably reasonable spirited driving. Though I think its mainly the fluid and the pads, the floating calipers don't really help with the heat dissipation.

It looks better than stock ones. Haha from what I heard it isn't much better than the m sport brakes. Just better with brake fade. I could be wrong though. I could look at them all day though!!

What he said. For a daily driving car you won't notice much of a difference. The factory pads also love to squeak, especially in cold weather.

....but all that aside (and the cost) - they look great.
