Wait List?

Just went to look at the X6 at my local dealership, and fell completely in love with it's flashy and classy styling. As always, there's always a twist with something this sweet! Am I going to purchase a $60,000 SAC and have to wait for several months, or will it be a shorter time before I can get it in my garage?! Can someone tell me how long I am going to have to wait for one?

i have ordered my x6 before 2 months and i still dont have production date,but i think that things go much better in following months...so i espect you will wait around max 3 months....not bad for such a beauty.

I was really lucky to get mine so quick. I posted this on the other thread. But someone ordered two and BMW found out they were going to export them and denied sale. So I got my white equipped as I wanted without having to order.

Kinda strange driving a car with no others on the road yet. At least I have not seen any.

Very few around right now - my dealer sold all 3 he had in the first week and managed to find mine in another dealer in SC. Official quote in US for a factory order is still around 6 weeks but dealers suspect it will more likely be 3 months minimum given production focus is on International markets right now. If you want one quicker is the States you are better to have your dealer try and find a launch stock model at a quieter dealership somewhere and live with the 'standard packages and colors' that come with that route.

I was lucky to get to purchase mine a couple weeks ago. I walked into the dealership to look at the car and someone purchasing the car credit didnt go thru...so i was able to purchase a fully loaded X6 black on black. I love the car. Like someone mentioned earlier its so weird having a car few people have or have seen, the looks and attention I receive is incredible.

In the UK, this years allocation now seems to be sold. My dealer sold their last few cars yesterday (prior to launch day) and the price was just increased by 1% too.

Seems bmw have the x6 diesel in England already but not in Canada...pity.
