Allow me to introduce myself / my F32!

So I have been creeping these forums for years and years, and I have found it very informative, interesting, lots of knowledgeable people here. Finally decided to join and post my ride! I've been a car guy all my life, I've had 9 cars and the last 2 have been BMW's with no signs of slowing down. I last had a 5 speed 2003 e46 325ci coupe. 6 months ago I purchased this.

2014 BMW M Sport 428i coupe
-Black sapphire metallic
-6MT
-Technology package
-Dynamic Handling package
-Driver's assistance package
-M performance brakes
-Premium package and a few other little goodies.

Since I got it, I got 5% tint all around, added a CF front lip, and CF sideskirts. I put in a Dinan Sports Tuner ( Running in Sport plus daily) and an Injen CAI. Attached are some images from the first weekend with the car to how it looks now with the CF bits.

I'm totally in love with her and my next move is an exhaust. But I'm not sure which route I want yet, M Performance exhaust for my car or go dual with a 435 M performance exhaust and the M performance rear diffuser for it. My other thought is go AWE or Remus quad exhaust. Thoughts??? And thank you guys for reading this!

Congrats man, absolutely beautiful! How's the brake dust on the all black rims? Have been contemplating getting my m sport rims done in black too.

bmwchue I want it also, at over $2k for the exhaust plus midpipe, it's steep but they do sound nice! Guess we'll see what I decide on, still not sure haha.

Showbizz1 thank you very much sir!

MojoRider Thank you! I think the sport tuner is well worth the 300 bucks, you definitely feel an extra kick in the pants especially at the lower rev range in the lower gears. Lots of fun.

NBMW30 thanks man! It can get bad if not taken care of. I wipe the car down with Meguiar's quik detailer every few days or so between washes to get rid of the Socal layer of sand that accumulates plus the bit of brake dust. Doesn't take long at all so I don't let it get out of hand haha.

eluded yep save the manuals! Wouldn't have bought it if not for it being a manual transmission!

Congratulations! 6MT F32s are rare enough as it is, let alone an M-sport 6MT 428i. Hope to see it around town or at car gatherings sometime soon!

Are you a local BMWCCA member?

That's why I snagged it up! A manual with almost every goodie, I had to. I never been to any around here in San Diego! Where are they? Lol I don't know nearly enough bmw people here. I'm still sort of newish in Socal. And no, I really should be, funny cause I used to autocross with bmw cca in New Jersey but I was a Honda guy back then, almost a decade ago ( all a 20 year could afford to buy and modify to have fun with in those days LOL).

Would be cool to link up some forum members and see more BMW's.

Just so happens this Saturday is our last autocross of the year. It's at SDCCU Stadium (formerly Qualcomm Stadium). It's free to spectate so feel free to swing by and check things out. Our autocrosses average 70-90 second lap times seeing speeds occasionally up to 70mph and are track layouts are over a mile long. We use the entire west lot and there's some decent elevation change with cambered and off-cambered corners.

Check out the SDBMWCCA's calendar of events. We hold 10-12 autocrosses per year, 1-2 HPDEs and Club Races, an annual trip to the BMW Performance Center, multiple tech sessions with club sponsors, cruises/mountain drives, K1 Speed Karting events, and more.

Free free to join the FB Group too.

As for meets, there are several that go on varying from weekly to monthly:

Nice car mate.

Just to help you with your decision, here's a couple of pics of mine:

I was originally going to go with a 435-style twin separated exhaust but the diffuser I got for that was horrible so I picked up this one and went with the quad pipe custom exhaust.

I live nearby there, I have some things to get done early that day but I might be able to pass by and watch a couple hours! I miss autocross so much. I'll be registering for sure, hopefully get a start in the January event, and look forward to meeting some of you out there. Thank you for all that info, much appreciated! I'll be going to the ones I can make ( work full time/ school full time).

Harlequin thank you and wow that looks so good and I bet it sounds the part as well. I'm leaning towards the quad look. The car looks gorgeous, I was thinking I'd get a similar trunk spoiler as well. Sick F32 man.

Thanks mate. Happy to help. Yeah. IMO it does sound pretty awesome. And because I went custom it has full 3" pipes going to both sides.

You betcha it sounds awesome.
