MPPK <$1000 on getbmwparts

So looks like the 335i version is being discounted. Maybe I should wait till the M340i MPPSK is released before getting the one for the 340i. With any luck it will be discounted to under a grand from the current price of $3k?

Have a link bud?

NM I found it, yep $995. Damn I'm tempted! Is there a way for end users to determine PIL (Plant Integration Level) of our vehicles, or does the dealer have to do a "Key Read" to get that information?

Also, why are there two products on the page with "Item # PKF30POWERKIT**"? I see no difference in the descriptions.

Wish I knew the answers to either of those. But if you have a 335 it is likely you're getting it after the fact. Their customer service is pretty good about responding to messages though they are online only no phone number. They are a dealership actually on the east cost but the website is handled by a separate team.

It's $995 on getbmwparts. I'm doing both the MPPK and MPE. Just emailed my "guy". Installation is $400 for both MPPK and MPE.

I believe the whole point of the M340i is that there wouldn't be a power kit. Just like there's no power kit for the 235 or 240.

Yeah you have a point, but for someone like myself who is still under CPO warranty for another two years it makes sense. MPE and MPPK installed for $2490 direct from dealer and no warranty consequences is a no brainer for me. Can't wait!

I would make a power kit if I were them there would be plenty of demand and money to be made.

I would for sure buy it as well. But I think the point of the of the M performance model is that it comes with the go fast engine tune from factory as well as suspension etc

I would love more power in it over the estimated 380. Even an mperformance adaptive suspension unlike the F30s static performance suspension.

Simply put my point is that if the M340i follows recipe of the M235i and the other m perf vehicles, there will be no addition engine map developed for it
