F32 model year change

Sorry if this is a known item -- I can't find the info in searching here or internet.

I have a 2014 F30 335i. Love it -- performance chipped and exhaust, black wheels, many misc nice tweaks -- but... I have always really wished I had bought the F32 coupe with manual transmission. (Long story how I got here.)

I looked at 430/440s the other day at my BMW dealer. I was surprised, quite a bit actually, to find that the vehicle is basically the same as the 2014 F30 -- interior, exterior, & features. I know the 2017 facelift has come out, but to me it looks very very much the same.

OK -- so I asked when a full model change would occur for the F32. The rep said it would be in 2021. (!!!)

Is that right??? 4 more years before the model goes to full reset?

If that's right, then I'll be keeping my 2014 F30 335i for several more years. It's a good car -- just wish it was a coupe with manual trans.

I'll watch used cars for the perfect fit 335i, but my 335i 4 door/auto is already well set up as I like it.

440i has the new B58 engine compared to your N55. The newer version of idrive nbt-evo and I believe the 2018s comes with the new digital cluster. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

The F30 came out MY 2012, the F32 in MY 2014. I just traded my 2014 435i xDrive 8AT coupe in on an Audi S5 Sportback because while it was reliable there was no way I was going to be stuck with it for 7 years. The LCI is simply not a significant improvement.

The F32 was 2 years behind the F30, so it would make sense if the G22 was 2 years behind the G20, which is coming out for MY '19.

Ok. Thanks. I guess I’ll be waiting quite a while. Maybe, but I think unlikely that I’ll find a 2014-2015-2016 435/440 equipped like my F30 but with manual trans. I’ll hope —-
