aftermarket ipod install?

is there something that I could install(aftermarket) that gives me the ipod/USB functionality on the nav screen? Is it something I can install myself?

I notice you have a 2004 M3 in your sig? Are you inquiring about E46 M3 or E92 M3?

This forum is mostly dedicated to E92 ... but I'll let you into a few nuggets that might be helpful.

For E46 M3, the best full integration is made by a company in the UK called Intravention. http://www.intravention.co.uk They have a distributor in the US .... offers full integration with the factory nav.

For E92 M3, you wont need to go aftermarket as BMW already offers a retrofit kit for ipod. For USB, a retrofit kit is apparently coming shortly.
