Changing Wheels on E46 and E92

I am looking for some advice on how to swap my wheels from my 2005 E46 with my 2008 E92. I would like to just switch them over.

The E46 rims are from ebay and are the 19" M6 style.
Front 8.5 x 19 +35 Tires 235 35 19
Rear 9.5 x 19 +40 Tires 265 30 19

The E92 rims are the OEM 19".
Front 8.5 x 19 +29 Tires 245 35 19
Rear 9.5 x 19 +23 Tires 265 35 19

Can I simply swap them, or do I need spacers or anything else to consider?

Thank you

not sure - but if they fit they may look too tucked in. try the fit and let us know.

may need spacers tho.

Do you mean on the E46 they will look tucked in? Therefore, will the E92 look bulged out? I can try it, just wanted to see if anyone knew what spacers I would need, and check there would be no other issues?
I only have one jack and some stands, so not going to be an easy job....

Changed the wheels round. Purchased some spacers for the rears, but really did not need them, so did not use them. Both cars look fine, no skinny E92 and no rubbing on E46.

Here are a couple of shots of the two cars. The E46 has the E92 19" rims, and the E92 has the M6 style E46 19" rims. If anything, I think the E92 could do with larger radial tires, as even the OEM's looked a little small under the Arch. It is amazing how much bigger, and higher the E92 is. I am actually selling the E92 as I really love my E46, I get so many more comments about it, and it has SMG, which I love. The E92 is just a big executive car that seems to blend in with all the 3 series, as well as the Lexus nowadays......

I love how you garaged the E46 and left the E92 outside in the rain. That's classic.

I think the m6 wheels look unreal on the E92 and will be putting them on my space gray coupe arriving end July. I'll be using the stock 18's for winter wheels...are the m6's you have rep's? Have you noticed any issues, rubbing, etc with them on the E92? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Both cars look awesome!
