Acceleration Noise
I noticed a strange noise the other day during my commute. I initially thought it must be the intake, but after searching around on the forum, I now think it could be an issue. I can only hear it at highway speeds, but I think that's primarily due to the fact that I can't hear my exhaust that much at those speeds. Whenever I give the car any gas it makes a very soft whining noise. I'm almost positive it's not the turbo because it happens right when I touch the gas pedal, but I could be wrong. Doesn't the turbo take a second to spool up before you can hear the whine?
I uploaded a video to YouTube, but you can barley hear it. If you turn the volume up loud and watch the efficiency dynamics gauge you can tell when I'm giving the car gas. I have done no performance mods to the car and I have not seen any warning lights since I've owned the car. It's a 2013 335i. Any thoughts?
