Changing TPMS Sensors

I recently had my Ohlins installed and new tires mounted. I had a recent TPMS light come on so I decided to replace them all when the tires were being changes with these : http://www.autohausaz.com/pn/HU-UVS2000

however, now I am getting TPMS inactive light and display of TPMS malfunction.

I know that sometimes boxed TPMS are in a sleep mode and need to be woken up with a radio signal. This could be the case here but I was wondering if anyone here has used these as a replacement and if they actually work. It says they are a fit but I wouldnt be surprised if they werent a good fit. Please let me know, thank you.

Apparently I need to have these sensors programmed with an ATEQ VT55 programmer. They are blank sensors from the factory and then this turns them into BMW Tpms basically.

Does anyone know someone in north NJ I can meet up with possibly and use their tool? I would be willing to throw them a few bucks. Thanks.

You can stop by a local tire shop and maybe ask them to do it. Depending on where you go, this could be free. It only takes a couple minutes. Otherwise, I can't imagine they'd charge much to program them. They do it all the time since the sensors they purchase are generic and apply to many different vehicles.

Do you mind me asking where you got your Ohlins from and suspension work done at? Thinking of going same route, so curious how you like them so far.

You can PM me if more convenient.

Also...try posting in wheel section of forum, you might have better luck finding someone local who has the programmer
