Elastic Mesh Thingy

Hello everyone. Why tf does the 2017 320i not have an elastic mesh holder thing behind the seat??? I had a 2017 330i as a loaner, and it had the thing. Legit, i really need it to hold stuff in the back. BMW is really pissing me off. My old E46 325i had it, and I used it a lot. Is anyone else pissed off? Does anyone know a work-around?

Life's too short for these things to piss you off, get a backpack and throw it in your trunk for all your stuff.

Guessing it is because the 320 is the base model? Agree they are useful. Sorry!

Bean counters at BMW keep it bare-bones on the base F30.

Buy a 330i backrest trim cover & install it on your seat. Looks like they list for $143, and can be found online for ~$114 new. You might be able to find used ones.

No offense, but in this day and age of so much info online, even at your fingertips on a smart phone, I can't believe people are still buying things and not knowing what you're buying. On the F30 cars, the seat back nets are included as part of the storage package which is included in the premium package. The storage pkg gives you the seat back nets, 12V socket for the rear seat and in the trunk, cargo net in the trunk, tray under the trunk floor, and 2 bag hooks.

So I checked my window sticker and that package was included

maybe as mine is a 15 328i - I have MSport no premium package. I actually was a little put off by your reply when I first read it, but that's fine you have a point.The OP could have looked this up.

Guess it pays to make sure you know you packages when ordering...p

A 320i costs more than my parents first house.

Same here, but they bought it for $15,000 in 1954. The last person to buy it three years ago paid over a million.

^ this. The storage pkg is standard on all of the F3x models except the 320i. On the 320i it is part of the premium pkg.
