Driver seat tilt advice
2010 MSport Alcantara driver seat.
When I tilt the seat almost fully forward/front down (using the adjuster on the corner of the base pic below - not my car in pic) I can no longer move the seat back or forward - as if it is tilting too far forward/down at the front that it is fouling the back and forth sliders. It also feels like it does not tilt back far enough. Any advice, can the tilt be adjusted to change how low/high it goes? 2005 320D Last edited by Munzy; 06-24-2017 at 02:29 PM.. |

Glad you sorted it out. Most of this forum is US based (it seems), and manual sport seats are not very common here. For one, I know mine are electric but then again I don't have a fire extinguisher bracket either!

Sorry to necro this, but I am having the same issue. I do not see in your picture (nor in my car) the bracket you mentioned. According to realOEM it should be in the front of the seat, big and red (so quite obvious).
Munzy do you have more details on what was blocking the incline adjustment and how did you fix it? Last edited by coisan; 12-04-2021 at 01:54 AM.. Reason: Tagged the user |
