That doesn't sound good. Did you figure out what happened? Sounds like the muffler may have cracked.

Think I've got a mild form of this too. I haven't noticed it in a while though.

Only time I did notice it was decently cold and I was at the self car wash so the rattle reverberated off the confined space.

Yep, broken exhaust flap. My exhaust has been replaced twice, under warranty for this same issue.

If it happens again you should tell them to give you the money towards a nice piece like the Fabspeed muffler delete and watch them crawl fish
