Hopefully just a fluke. What happened after you shut the car off and back on?

Is your vehicle still under warranty? Whatever the problem might be (head unit, possible short), getting it addressed before the warranty expires is highly recommended.

I've had mine reset while driving a few times. But then it reset itself in German...a dealer visit and software upgrade solved the issue.

This will happen. It's a computer. If it happens a lot, definitely tell the dealer. A friend had it happen once and that was it. It happened to mine 8 times in a 2 week period and the dealer replaced the head unit and it hasn't happened at all.

That issue requires the headunit to be replaced.
When they did mine they replaced the headunit and the cable that runs between the display and the headunit itself. |
