Towbar recommendation

Can anyone recommend a towbar for a F32, detachable type that doesn't involve cutting the rear bumper. Even better if the electrics are hidden too.

I'm going to fit it myself. Promise not to clog up the fun roads doing 40, it's just for transporting my glider trailer up and down the airfield.

I've got the Westfalia detachable who supply BMW OEM. https://www.pfjones.co.uk/bmw-3-seri...le-towbar.html It came with the correct brackets for picking up the rear bumper support, a threaded socket for the towing eye and doesn't require any cutting of the rear bumper. You will need to trim the exhaust heat shield but that applies to all towbars.

I'll second Chrismac13 suggestion to make sure you get the plug and play electronics. Although if you're only going up and down an airfield you could probably get away without any.

Thanks all, I bought the Westfalia detachable towbar (303352) and the Westfalia dedicated wiring kit (303352300107).

Was £282 in total.

Thought I'd post an update after fitting the tow bar on the weekend.

All went smoothly until I got to the wiring. I bought the Westfalia kit I mentioned above, this is supposed to be a dedicated wiring kit but it's not, it's a generic BMW for several different models. I had to cut off over 30 metres of cable and having to rejoin two of the wires that had mini connectors on the end, there's another cable also too long which my OCD wont allow me to leave in that condition for long. Looks good, no parts left over (apart from the heatshield), no damage to the paint, broken clips etc. everything fits and you cant see the towbar mounting or the wiring unless you climb under the car.

Just one problem remaining, the heat shield cant be refitted because of the towbar, there is a smaller one you can buy for the petrol variants, will this fit my 435D? Seems strange to not fit anything.
