Alpine White w/ black stock wheels
Looking for photos of dipped, painted, or powder coated 17" stock wheels on an Alpine White F30.
Leaning toward dipping mine gloss black until I can find a new wheel & tire set up. |

Here's some closeups of some older 5 series Style 122 BMW 17" rims that I got powder coated in flat black for my Blizzak winter tires. Fit my F30 perfectly!! Unfortunately I didn't take a picture zoomed out, but I think it looks rather nice. Tires are obviously in storage right now until December...
For the summer I have some nice anthracite 18" Apex EC-7 rims with Michelin Pilot 4S which you can see in another thread I posted here. I really like the contrast with the Alpine White F30!

Plastidipped (not that I'm a fan - just got the car last month and haven't removed it yet).

Have had a bunch of white cars. Only in very bright light do you actually see the wheels if you go with black. I prefer some brightwork on the wheel especially if it's a nice looking wheel. Or at least some high gloss metallic grey color. Otherwise all the detail gets lost. Just my $0.02
