Does anyone have any comparisons between the manually adjusted sport seats in the 228, and 235, vs the automatic seats in the M2. I have manual seats in my 228 and really like them. Rich

It's the same seats, just with power adjustment.

The one thing I noticed is the M2 seats have slightly more deeper side supports, at least it looked that way when I test drove one.

This my first BMW and my seats are manual. I find the manual adjustment limiting, my previous car was an Audi S5 with full electric seats their adjustment was superb.

I opted for manual on the basis the seats would be lighter, i.e. no heavy motors but if I was ordering again I personally would have gone electric.

You can probably find someone on the forum to trade seats if that is of interest.

I had powered seats in my m235i, I prefer how much lower I can get in the manual seats. Plus the peace of mind knowing my seats follow the k.i.s.s. (keep it simple stupid) ideology.

Ps: I'm happier having no lumbar support. No matter where I adjusted it, it always bothered me.

I much prefer manual seats. I feel they have much more adjustability.
