Coilover Set

I'm thinking of getting a coilover set from Tein. They are going to prototype it with my car. Is that a good idea to replace it with the sport package that I have. I will be getting the coilover set with 20's.....

I will post pictures with 19's and 20's as soon as DAZZ email's them to me....They fitted my car with several types of wheel.

Coilovers will give you even higher limits of handling than the sports package suspension and will give you the flexibility of height adjustability (and dampening adjustability if it's a dampening-adjustable coilover). That said, any set of coilovers (which are typically sprung and spec'd pretty hard) and 20" wheels will definitely give you a harsher ride. Tein is a highly respected suspension tuner so no worries about the quality of their coilovers.

Looking forward to seeing the various wheels on your car

Yeah looks sick with 20's! Actually building my E90 for SEMA show in Las Vegas.

I had Tein sponsor me on my Supra. I love them!

Tein is definatly new to the BMW scene for coilover, but they've done suspension for a long time so you are getting quality, and with the EDFC you can adjust the dampening from inside the cabin of the car which is a real bonus !! The "feature" of the TEIN system you should be aware of is that its a bit stiffer then the coilover options from the german manufacturers. TEIN guesses the system is more for track use the road/track use, so i've heard its stiffer, but it should still be ok, especially if you get the dampening adjustable variant. Good luck, let us know how badass it is when you get it

Tein used to have rusting problems, but I'm sure they have addressed that already. I can't wait to see some rims from DAZZ motorsports, I'm curious to see how they look on a BMW. Funny thing to me is Japanese tuning parts on a BMW, only because I have soo may German parts on my Japanese car! I have BMW lights, Momo interior parts, Koni/Eibach/Neuspeed suspension(I'm guessing Koni and Eibach are German), Recaro seats and at one time I had BBS RX rims on my car!

Hehe! Sounds like your setup was SWEET!! I didn't like the BBS RX's because they were a bit heavy and they were cast the cheap way so they bent real easy. Problem solved when I purchased some forged volk rims, but other than that, the BBS' were great! Any pictures of the s2k?

Danny, sure do. This is further proof that BBS LM's look good on almost any car and that black cars rule all! Everybody with an S2000 ran volks so I didn't wanna repeat that, but otherwise they're beautiful wheels.

Yep that's me. I always make sure my car is cleaned and waxed before a photoshoot I think I had Meguiars NXT wax applied, since that's the only wax I've been using for a while now. I'm much too lazy to use zaino (tho I'd like to try it someday).
