Jerky/Wavy acceleration 328i

I've been having this slight hesitation/jerk/wave like feeling when i accelerate hard and the RPM goes up above 3500-4000rpm

It feels pretty subtle, like if i relax my head, it goes back and forth. I plugged in my laptop and ran ISTA and left it on while i made a few hard runs around town and the misfiring counter did not clock in any misfire.

FYI spark plugs are new. just replaced them last week.

Could it be the ignition coils if there is no misfire registered in the ISTA/D ? Any ideas

I have pretty similar experience except its when I'm cursing on highway speed and light throttle just to keep cruising speed I have that jerky/wave like feel. I just did my spark plugs and that wasn't it, currently at 58k. I was wondering the coil packs too but it wont be anytime soon when I'll have the chance to swap them out.

I think you'll see a misfire code if it's the coil packs.
My Mazdaspeed6 acted the same way just prior to the high pressure fuel pump failing.

I think I have experienced a similar issue, Mine almost feels like the driveshaft is moving around or a slight flutter... Is that what you guys are feeling? Way to soon for a failed GUIBO I would thinkg ( 2013 w/75k miles )
