What do you make of this carfax maintenance record??
this is a used 2016 340 at a local dealer - looking at the Carfax there is an awful lot of tire mounting and balancing going on and then "fuse replacement" any thoughts on what we are looking at here....thnx

Just a wild guess:
Client hit an edge on a road under construction and both tires blew. Replaced and balanced both. One or both wheel is bent enough for slow leaks to the tire(s) and have to be replaced often. Is this CPO? Have them check the wheels. Fuses are probably nothing, but ask them what fuses and why.

I agree that something could be up with the wheels or tires, tires replaces every 3 months; I would ask for new wheels and tires all around and definitely ask why the fuse(s) had to be replaced and ask for the service records to examine. Good luck.

Thanks all for the input - something just seems a bit "off" so I'm going to pass (that's what my gut is telling me) - plenty of other options out there - and have our sites set on an SUV

Honestly, if it's just the wheel, I would ask for a replacement. I wouldn't pass on it right now. Just investigate.

I see that you ran, which was smart. My previous vehicle (Cadillac XTS) had similar maintenance records and guess what? I was a moron and believed the dealership, which was a beyond stupid. I ended up having a shitload of issues with it over the years starting with 4, yes 4 bent rims that I had to pay for. The asshole that owned the car before me curbed it daily according to dealer #3 but somehow, dealer #1 had "spruced" up those bent ass scratched rims and sold the car to me. Those rims looked perfect so they obviously reconditioned them but not properly OR they were just that fucked up. This is just one reason why I said the hell with GM for good...the douchebags even pulled the carfax and covered it up stating the person received several bad tires, which was a common thing. Although that was not a lie, those a'holes actually CPO'ed the car with 4 bent rims, a moldy A/C smell, endless rebooting with CUE, etc.. Some CPO that was. Well, I was also stupid enough to believe all that too so lesson learned x 2!
I have to say those wheels and that entire car is f'ed.... This car has been an absolute treat and I'm sticking with German engineering from now on.
