Help me identify this part near intake

I have to replace a part that's got a missing piece of plastic where the clamp goes. I'm not sure what to call it to search for the part - can anyone identify what I might call this section?

Your charge pipe is broken and needs to be replaced.

It's the c-clip that holds it, the charge pipe on. see below.
You shouldn't be using a metal band clamp.

If your charge pipe broke, this is very common.

Its probably time to change the charge pipe to a metal one, ER or other brand.

You can have bmw replace, but if you are tuned, it will keep happening.

Make sure you have the o-rings and the c-clip or you will have a boost leak.

Excellent thanks - I still have the C-Clip.. it was hanging on one of the wires in the engine bay and luckily I found it before it fell!
Chargepipe was exactly what I needed to know so I've got one on order since mine is cracked.
Any suggestion on a downpipe fix? I need to pass inspection soon too.
I've read about the vrsf downpipe and the ****** catsim - just want to make sure one of those is a suitable solution with the jb4 to get me passed inspection.

in NY, the first 2 years of the car, they just give you the sticker.
See what your state laws are.

If you are past that, just clear the code before in the parking lot before they run any tests. Put jb4 in map 0, and disconnect it via obd.

Most say you will need to replace ur DP with stock to pass.
Will that tool trick it to pass? No idea.

I run a flash tune, and all my emissions are passing under my logs with a cattless dp.

I have tried the catsim with no luck. Apparently other have had luck. There are also mini cats that have worked for some people. Essentially a spacer with a cat in it. I tried a spacer and had no luck either. I think I'll just be swapping my cat once a year.

I'd like to try the catsim if I could find definitive proof that it works on the n55
