Hi could anyone recommend a good bike carrier for a 4 series GC

Thule do a good job. Can't remember the exact model number I used but its all on their web site.
I have also used an old E92 roof rack and it works and fits fine.

I'd be careful with the 'Pro Ride' 591? and a carbon bike if you have one, the frames don't like side stressing. 569 fork mount is the safer option
